Be Able: Empowering People with Disabilities (PWD)

A transformative platform dedicated to uplifting and empowering PWD through education on assistive device use, enhanced communication skills, and sports activities for sustainable self-rehabilitation.

Project Overview and Mission

Be Able: Empowering the Disabilities is a community initiative focused on transforming the lives of People with Disabilities (PWD) who use prosthetic and orthotic devices. The mission addresses a critical gap: many PWD lack the confidence and knowledge to effectively use their assistive devices, leading to social isolation and reduced independence.

The program provides targeted education, hands-on training, and a supportive environment at the Pusat Latihan Perindustrian & Pemulihan (PLPP) to foster sustainable self-rehabilitation. By encouraging **communication and participation in para-sports, the project aims to help PWD confidently navigate urban life and realize their full potential.
