Our Roles
As a one stop centre for community engagement related activities
Serve as an outlet for the transfer of knowledge, expertise, skills and technology to the community
Develop and coordinate projects and activiteis in collaboration with community
Monitor and mesure impact and diseminate information on community engagement activities
Provide a platform to engage with schools (kelab sahabat).
Organize community program for Universiti Malaya's staff and students
Our Goals
Goal 1: To develop Community Flagship Programs (CFP).
Goal 2: To measure knowledge transfer from UM to the community.
Goal 3: To advance engagement of penta-helix collaboration that translates to public good.
Goal 4: To implement social innovation ecosystem within UM.
Goal 5: To enhance visibility of the community engagement initiatives
Quality Objectives
Ensure at least 10 new projects involving the transfer of knowledge, technology or skills in collaborathe industry / community during the current yearrrent year.
Ensure that at least 30 communities / industries receive / benefit from knowledge, technology or skills transfer projects / activities carried out during the current year
