Universiti Malaya Community Engagement Centre (UMCares)
UMCares Squad is a Club established under UMCares since 2010 . This club serves as a platform for students in all residential colleges to participate and developed skills and interests in relation to community service. UMCares Squad allows students to gain proximity and exclusive access to projects that UMCares conducts- walking football/ UMACE, which will give them exposure to a myriad of community engagement programs.
Club members of UMCares Squad also have the potential to develop personal employability value through programs like the international DOE award which is recognized by employers internationally. UMCares Media Icon Award UMCares is an award that was just introduced in 2022 to the students of the University of Malaya. The award aims to train students' creativity in media visibility for community networking activities. In addition, this award can also increase the visibility of the University of Malaya in terms of community networking programs. This award supports the Sustainable Development Goals - SDGs.
