Be A New U! Fitness & Lifestyle Transformation

An integrated awareness program empowering the Universiti Malaya community through proper nutritional intake and structured exercise to achieve lasting weight reduction and improved metabolic health.

The Objective

"Be A New U!" aims to break sedentary habits within the university ecosystem. By promoting active lifestyles through evidence-based exercise routines and nutritional counseling, the project tracks physical fitness and blood profiles (lipid and glucose levels) to validate the positive physiological shifts in participants.

Clinical Methodology

Participants undergo comprehensive screening at the beginning and conclusion of the program. This data-driven approach ensures that weight loss is accompanied by meaningful improvements in long-term health indicators, fostering a culture of health consciousness that extends beyond individual participants to the wider campus.

Outcomes & Future Roadmap


Successful Weight Reduction 100% of participants achieved weight loss, with the highest individual reduction reaching 20kg.
