Area that can be enhanced is to create a rainwater harvesting channel to collect the rainwater from the rainwater downpipe. It can be considered as a sustainable concept where it can be adopted in the building design and can contribute to the rating of the green buildings. This channel will encourage every single unit of high-rise residential building to have their own rainwater harvesting system. So far the construction industry has adopted the rainwater harvesting concept in their building however the existing concept does not cattle for every single unit of houses for the high-rise residential buildings. Innovation to the existing rainwater down pipe accessories by introducing the rainwater harvesting channel. This channel will assist the residents to collect the rainwater and use it to water the plant.
