Enhancing energy saving awareness and implementing efficient technologies to reduce electricity costs and environmental impact across primary and secondary schools.

To analyze electricity consumption in existing school buildings and implement energy-saving attitudes and technologies. By bridging the gap in knowledge among teachers and students, the project aims to reduce monthly electricity bills, allowing savings to be diverted to more beneficial educational purposes.
Through the "Program Sekolahku Universitiku," UM collaborated with five schools including SK Kg Selayang and SMK Assunta. Engagement was maintained despite MCO constraints via online surveys, video demonstrations, and virtual awareness sessions reaching over 1,200 participants.



This project actively contributes to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals for climate action and affordable energy.
