The Objective

To train target community leaders in the prevention and control of dengue, Zika, and chikungunya. The workshop focused on mosquito biology, ecology, and hands-on skills such as DIY ovitrap making and mosquito identification using stereo-microscopes.

The Strategic Impact

By equipping the COMBI team—one of the most active in Malaysia—with innovative surveillance tools, the project ensures long-term sustainability through peer-to-peer knowledge dissemination within the national COMBI network.
