On July 20, 2023, a grand event took place on a Thursday, namely the UM Friendship Club's Appreciation and Meet & Greet Event 2023. The community that gathered to create beautiful memories consisted of 16 Research Heads who successfully secured grants from UMCares, along with 50 teachers from schools in the Petaling Utama and Bangsar/Pudu districts.
This event was organized as a heartfelt gesture of appreciation to the researchers and teachers of UM Friendship Club, who accomplished outstanding programs throughout the previous year. They can take pride in their remarkable achievements, as they touched hearts and made a positive impact on society. The presence of two esteemed guests of honor, Ms. Noorhana Hashim from the Bangsar/Pudu District Education Office, and Mr. Nazri Mohamad from the Petaling Utama District Education Office, added to the lively atmosphere. They provided encouragement and support to all attendees, urging them to strive for progress and make a positive difference in the world of education.
