As of April 2025, UMCares continues to make impressive strides in its mission to foster sustainable community development through the COMMUNITIZE@UM initiative. This update outlines the impactful work accomplished across Tier 1 and Tier 2 projects and hints at exciting plans for May.
UMCares has expanded its reach significantly through its Tier 1 initiatives. These projects focus on meaningful, community-based engagement designed to generate tangible outcomes. The projects span across 178 parliamentary constituencies, emphasizing the program's broad national impact. With 44 constituencies still on the radar, efforts are ongoing to achieve full nationwide coverage.
The Tier 2 initiative, known as Program CAKnA, continues to complement the Tier 1 efforts. This program delves deeper into specific community needs, offering tailored interventions and support. April saw a continuation of strategic collaborations and local empowerment activities under this program.
